GPS Fix -- The Patch
This guide teaches you how to start using what is referred to as
Homebrew in order to obtain the patch.
Homebrew is safe, but not officially endorsed by Palm. It will not void your warranty, however, Palm will NOT provide support for Homebrew material.

A Patch?
Verizon phones have a unique problem. In most cases, GPS can only be initialized by loading VZ Navigator. It's a problem with Verizon and not apps.
While a permanent solution is being implemented, this app is here to TRY and help. It uses several techniques for unlocking and keeping GPS alive.
The patch does one thing: Allows VZ Navigator to load then close itself after unlocking GPS, all with no subscription required. It let's this app use the alternate technique to keep your GPS awake and available.
